Professional Skills courses are organized in the following categories:
- Administrative Development Program (ADP)- The Administrative Development Program is a cohorted, selective, six month long program for high-potential administrative professionals. Designed to build the key competencies required for success in senior level administrative roles. The ADP cohort is small - fewer than 15 participants across the university are selected for each program.
- Supervisor and Manager Development Program (SMDP) – The Supervisor Development Program (SDP) and Manager Development Program (MDP), are curriculums designed for new and existing supervisors and managers as well as those interested in growing in their career. Each curriculum is structured with core courses in addition to elective based options to allow customization of learning by the individual. All courses within each program align to university leadership competencies.
- Staff Development – Staff Development provides specific programs for several categories of employees. It also provides generic training in a variety of work-related skills, which are organized in the following tracks:
